Welcome to my blog, eTao.site, where the “e” represents “the easy and eternal, though often elusive” attributes of Tao. And in Chinese, one homophone for the English letter “e” is “易”(yì)，which can mean “easy” or “change”, so eTao can also mean “the easy Tao of change”. One of China’s famous ancient classic works is just called 《易经》(Yi Jing, which is also translated to I Ching or Book of Changes in English.)

Here I will touch and explore the core teachings of Chinese ancient Tao and the Western esoteric tradition, including Tao Te(Tao and morality, ethics, virtue), nothingness(or nihilism, emptiness, void), “to do nothing yet leave nothing undone”, “the whole is mind, the universe is mental” and “as above, so below.”

I love Chinese traditional culture, just as I appreciate early and modern Western civilization. Occasionally, I will translate one or two sayings or works of ancient Chinese sages, philosophers, thinkers, scholars, literary figures, poets and especially Taoists, which I believe embody the original and true Chinese and Oriental spirit and values that I cherish the most. I wlll also introduce and publish writings from the Western esoteric and occult tradition that align with my personal interests, hobbies and criteria for selection.
